Goals from Nicholas Mintah and Solomon Kissi cancelled out Evans Opoku’s early goal for Junior Neff and ensured Adjoafoaman Football Club carried all points.
A less exciting game on the Sekondi Gyandu Park saw Adjoafoaman inject some hope after their disappointing opening game against Skyy FC yesterday; winning 2:1 against Junior Neff.
The Juniors had the match opener after a through ball which saw Evans Opoku all by himself in the penalty box against goalkeeper Frank Appiah to register the game’s opener, the fifth conceded by the shot stopper.
Adjoafoaman found their feet 13 minutes after the goal, Solomon Kissi dribbled two and curled first time to the top right corner on the 24th minute to draw the game level.
The recess came early, both teams haven’t squandered enough entered the dressing room with one goal in either end.
Adjoafoaman made a crown of Junior Neff in the second half – dominating the entire proceedings and luckily getting the much needed winner on the 68th minute mark.
Group B now opens up, Skyy FC will lead with three points and a plus of two goals, Adjoafoaman, haven’t lost 4:2 to Skyy FC on match day one are on three points and a negative one goal – Junior Neff have no point and a minus of one goal, they play Skyy FC tomorrow, the group’s final game.
