Shot Stopper for Kano Pillars, Ibrahim Dossey has said that his side boast of a stronger team than Ghanaian giant; Asante Kotoko.
The two clubs were drawn together in the preliminary round of the 2019 CAF Champions League.
Speaking to Abaidoo Abednego on Spice Center Sports (a sports program which airs from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm each weekday on Spice 91.9 FM), The Ghanaian national who sounded confident revealed that his side aren’t perturbed by the numerous signings of Asante Kotoko because there is a huge difference between individual players and a team.
“If you sign players, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have a solid team, your signings will be useless if you don’t have a solid team” he said on Spice 91.9 FM.
Asante Kotoko have signed eleven new players to beef up their squad ahead of the 2019 CAF Champions League campaign but the former Kumasi King Faisal shot stopper thinks they still don’t have a strong team than Kano Pillars.
“We have a very solid team than Asante Kotoko, it is always not about signing big names players, you can even sign Cristiano Ronaldo but he wouldn’t flourish if you don’t have a solid team,
