Spice FM today presented an amount of GHC 2,300.00 to Zone 2 division one league side, Sekondi Eleven Wise, fulfilling promise made to the club before away encounter against Kumasi King Faisal and part payment of the sponsorship package.
An amount of GHC 1,500.00 from the agreed sponsorship package was presented to the team’s interim management committee chairman, Papa Daniels. The skipper of the side, David Nyankum received an away draw package of GHC 500.00 on behalf of the playing body whiles team manager Ebenezer, known popularly as Chief Obo also received GHC 300.00 on behalf of the technical team.
Skipper David Nyankum seized the occasion to thank the sponsors, Spice FM for the support and promised that the playing body will do everything possible to bring smiles on the faces of the sponsors – “I’ll thank Spice FM (A Subsidiary of Focus 1 Media which includes Beach FM) for the support and I pray God replace all the monetary supports – The playing body will do everything possible to work our way up to the top”.
The presentation was the second from Spice FM, a subsidiary of Focus 1 Media( Spice FM and Beach FM) belonging to the rich umbrella of Focus 1 Group which comprise of UnikLife Microfinance, Focus 1 Construction, Focus 1 Distribution and Focus 1 Events to Sekondi Eleven Wise after receiving an initial amount of GHC 7,500.00.
“Let me thank your listeners, Spice FM and also UnikLife Microfinance, this is a timely intervention, because we need money and this is something that speaks volume of the commitment of our sponsors, it’s not yet time for this payment, but our willing sponsors have showed how they want us to push up the season’s target, which is top four.” – IMC Chairman Papa Daniels added.
The presentation which took place at the office of UnikLife Microfinance was flooded with top journalists from various radio stations in Sekondi-Takoradi.
Sekondi Eleven Wise shared the spoils with Kumasi based King Faisal to push to 21 points, 5 points away from safety.
