Ahead of Ghana’s crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier game against the Red Devils of Congo, in form Richmond Boakye Yiadom has been invited to replace Rapheal Dwamena who missed the trip due to health issues.
Rapheal Dwamena failed a medical at Brighton after the English club raised concerns of a Heart problem. He is being replaced by former U-20 international Richmond Boakye Yiadom.
Boakye Yiadom has been in top form for Red Star Belgrade scoring 23 goals including seven Europa League goals which helped them advance into the group stage.
The forward is expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday night and will join the rest of the squad in Kumasi before Friday’s game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
