New Black Stars center forward, Raphael Dwamena is confident that the new crop of players can lift the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
Dwamena is confident that the ‘new’ Black Stars can win the trophy which has eluded Ghanaians for over 30 years ahead of the 2019 AFCON which is scheduled to be hosted in Cameroon.
Dwamena in an interview stated that they only need is for the team to stay as a team and they will be able to achieve what the nation has cried for.
“If we stay as a team, I believe we can win it. We only need to stay strong as a team and as a nation and possibly, we can win it.”
Goals from Raphael Dwamena, Ebenezer Ofori and John Boye ensured the Black Stars started the qualifying games on the high – there are five other games to complete the group.
