My entire music career has been “Juju” free – Sarkodie

Musician Michael Owusu Addo, known by his stage name as Sarkodie has some words of motivation to the youth of Tema and Ghana at large, especially upcoming musicians to believe in the almighty God and not any other being.

In an interview with Accra based FM station, Hitz Fm, the celebrated rapper uttered his gratitude to God for being there for him since the inception of his music career, refuting all the Illuminati claims tagged with his name .

“I survived in life just basically because of believing in this man up there, God and no one ” Sarkodie said.

The rapper also divulged on how God has made him a successful individual in his field though, initially some of his colleagues wanted to lure him into consulting lesser gods for fame in the music terrain and most importantly protection from other rivals.

“They were talking about going to certain places to drink this type of water and you will meet somebody, they will ask you something that you do and then people will love your music, they will follow you”

“But as a child of God, you need to believe in your faith and that is what I did”, he added .

In all these, he praised her mum for been an integral part of his Christian upbringing and build up of his faith.
