Hasaacas Files Protest Against Samartex For Allegedly Trying To Induce A Match

 

Sekondi Hasaacas is reported to have filed protest against Samartex 1996 FC who allegedly tried to influence the outcome of their game against Sekondi Hasaacas in Match day 6 of the Ghana Division One League.

Samartex 1996 FC won the game by 2-1 at the Essipong but Sekondi Hasaacas claims they bribed their Captain, Thomas Aboagye with Four Thousand Ghana cedis before the game and will for that matter file protest against them.

Addressing the press on the issue, IMC member, Paa Kwesi Aboa said in a press conference that they have sent a petition to the Ghana Football Association to mete out the necessary sanctions against Samartex 1996 FC for bribing their captain to affect the outcome of the game.

“We have invited you here this afternoon to brief you on a petition that we have sent to the Ghana Football Association to mete out the necessary sanctions against Samartex 1996 FC, for paying Four Thousand Ghana Cedis to our captain Thomas Aboagye and his team mates, to induce them to influence the outcome of last Wednesday’s Division One League match which Sekondi Hasaacas lost by two goals to one to Samartex FC at the Sekondi Sports Stadium” Paa Kwesi told the press in a press conference.
