Ghana Premier League: Three Points For The Summit – WAFA DECLARES

George Ofosu Hene, Operations Manager for West Africa Football Academy has stated, that his outfit will leave no stone unturned against Asante Kotoko on Wednesday, August 23, at the Sogakope Park, as they battle for the maximum points in the outstanding league match.

The Academy side lost by a goal to nil to the Porcupine Warriors in the first leg of the 2016-17 Ghana Premier League, but the operations manager of the club, George Ofosu Hene, insists his outfit is well prepared to secure maximum points come Wednesday.

“All we need is the 3 points to go top of the league table, kotoko will applaud us on Wednesday”, he told FOX FM Rush hour sports.

Referring to what many consider a disappointing display by Kotoko leading attacker Sadick Adams in Black Stars B 2-1 defeat to Burkina Faso on Sunday, Ofosu Hene believes WAFA will cruise past kotoko as they face off on Wednesday.

“I watched Sadick Adams against Burkina Faso and if this is how he will play on Wednesday, then all fans of WAFA should sleep “, he said.

WAFA are die in need of victory to secure the first position, extend the lead over Aduana Stars to two points – Asante Kotoko with 36 points, could be a point away from Hearts of Oak if they’re able to do the magic over WAFA.
