Rumor has it that Ghana Premier League second placed side West African Football Academy(WAFA) midfielder, Majid Ashimeru is at the middle of a €10,000.00 bid from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
According to reports the Russian outfit is keen on acquiring the signature of the Ghanaian youngster, who has sparkled in the season’s topflight league.
Majeed Ashimeru on his resurgence this season has earn him call ups to Black Stars B camp and has featured in friendly games against Benin and Gambia including Championship of African Nations cup qualifier against Burkina Faso.
Ashimeru, a standout performer in this season’s domestic top-flight with six assists and nine man of the match awards to his credit so far.
The offer from Anzhi Makhachkala could lure the Ghanaian Club to heed to their request and allow the midfielder to move before the European transfer deadline day.
The 19-year-old has also received offers from Denmark and Sweden. WAFA will weigh up various options before settling on a move for the budding talent.
