Faustina Ampah and Ernestina Abambila secure league title with ZFK Minsk

Faustina Ampah and Ernestina Abambila today secured their first league title with Belarusian side, ZFK Minsk after an impressive 9:0 victory against rock bottom Slavyanka at the Stadion FK Minsk.

The two former Ghana Female Youth players today starred in the coronation game for the Belarusian Giants and finished off a rather impressive season.

The 2017-18 UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigners retained the league trophy with a well worked 54 points, 18 points apart from second placed and rivals Zorka-BDU and goal difference of 118.

ZFK Minsk have again secured a ticket to the 2018-19 UEFA Women’s Champions League – the two former Ghana Youth team players played part in ZFK Minsk’s 2017-18 UWCL group stage triumph and will be hosting Slavia Praha from Czech Republic in the round of 32 on Wednesday October 4.

Faustina Ampah, jersey number 15 joined from Lokomotiva Brno Horni in Czech Republic haven’t spent her entire colt stage and amateur stage at Ghana’s Blessed Ladies whiles Ernestina Abambila, jersey number 99, signed from Youngstown State University of USA this very year on August 1.

Center back, Faustina Ampah, scored 8 goals this season connecting corner kicks and set pieces – Ernestina Abambila scored 5 goals.

20-year-old Faustina Ampah and 18-year-old Ernestina Abambila were both part of Ghana’s Female Youth team at the 2016 FIFA World Women’s Youth World Cup at Papua New Guinea.
