Ghana Black Princesses right back Ernestina Abambila has sealed a season deal with Belarusian Women’s League power house ZFK Minsk.
The former Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies and Mississipi Valley State University youngster completed the deal today, August 1 from Youngstown State University after traveling from United State of America to Belarus last Wednesday.
The deal is Abambila’s first as a professional player after playing in the United States of America University games for Mississipi Valley State University and Youngstown State University.
Abambila was quick to react to the news on twitter – “Delighted to have signed my first professional contract with ZFK Minsk, new challenge, can’t wait to get going.”
The former Penguins midfielder becomes the second Ghanaian to join the Belorussian side following former Blessed Ladies center back Faustina Ampah’s deal early this year.
Ernestina Abambila has featured for Ghana in the at the FIFA World Cup Under 17 and Under 20 levels.
