Ernestina Abambila scored her first UEFA Women’s Champions League goal as ZFK Minsk beat Slovenia’s Olympija Ljubiljana 5:0 to retain the top position to the round of 32 of the 2017-18 competition.
Anna Pilipenko paved way for the Ghanaian in the 67th minute – versatile Abambila’s first touch to the ball resulted in the game’s third for the Belarusian side after just a minute on the pitch.
Abambila produced the game’s fifth goal after setting up Tamila Kimmich nicely at 90+1 minute.
Tamila Kimmich scored two, Yulia Borisenko, Anna Pilipenko and Ernestina Abambila all had their names on the scorecard to help ZFK Minsk advance to the round of 32.
Center back, Faustina Ampah played full throttle for ZFK Minsk and ensured the Belarusian side finished the game with another clean sheet.
ZFK Minsk currently lead the log of group 6 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League with 6 points and 13 goals followed by FC Zurich Fauren with 6 points and 6 goals.
The two clubs have secured the two slots already ahead of Sunday’s clash to determine which side end as group winners – third placed with better
