Ghana’s Female Under-20 midfielder, Ernestina Ama Abambila has revealed her dream is to play for Football Association’s Women’s League side, Chelsea Ladies Football Club.

The 19-year-old stated in an interview with Abaidoo Abednego on Spice Center Sports that, she’s a fan of the London side and dreams of winning the UEFA Women’s Champions League with them.

Abagna as popularly refered to became the only Ghanaian to score in the UWCL when FC Minsk played Slovenia side Ljubljana in the group stage.

“My aim is to play for Chelsea Ladies. I want to win the Women’s Champions League with Chelsea Ladies” she said.

“Women Football in Ghana don’t pay. My biggest challenge was when I picked up an injury which ruled me out for close to a year in 2012”

Abambila helped FC Minsk to the round of 32 stage of the 2017-18 UEFA Women’s Champions League and has also helped the Black Princesses of Ghana to the FIFA Female Under-20 World Cup to be hosted in France August 2018.
