Kurt Okraku owned Dreams Football Club has gained promotion to the nation’s topflight league with two more games to spare after an emphatic 3:0 victory over Okwahu United last Sunday.
Dreams Football Club was demoted to the second tier league last season due to the directive of FIFA’s Court of Arbitration of Sports with the issue of fielding an unqualified player.
The side has gained a re-introduction to the Ghana Premier league just a season in the division one league.
With 22 victories, four draws and two loses, the Dawu based side gathered from 28 games, 70 points, nine points better than second placed Hearts of Lions.
Ayinase based side, Karela Football Club winners of zone two, was the first club to gain promotion to the topflight and will be joined by Dreams Football Club – winner of zone one will join the two teams to the topflight league for the 2017-18 season.
