Diamond Cement, winners of Beach FM Mini Olympics donates to Egyam Children’s Home

Diamond Cement, winners of Beach Fm’s Mini Olympics maiden edition together with Beach 105.5 FM have presented a cash price worth Thousand Ghana Cedis to the Egyam Children Home at Egyam in the Ahanta West Municipality in the Western Region.

The gesture is in fulfillment of the part of price package that was promised by the organizers of the corporate games that took place on May Day 2019.

The winner was given a giant trophy, an airtime worth GHC 5,000 and a cash prize of GHC 1,000 which was to be donated to an orphanage of their choice, the second placed company was also given a trophy and advertising airtime worth GHC 3,000 together with a framed certificate.

Receiving the package on behalf of Egyam Children Home, Mr. Samuel Hanson, a Social Worker who is also the Administrator for the home expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture extended to them by both Beach 105.5 FM and Diamond cement.

He also urged Beach 105.5 FM to continue organizing such programs in order to make needy outfits like Egyam children’s home beneficiaries.

Corporate organizations who participated in the Beach FM Mini Olympics included Diamond Cement, Ghacem, GIMPA, Takoradi International School, Vodafone Ghana ,Guinness Ghana and Mantrac with Focus 1 Media as the host.

Egyam children’s home was established in October 2005 and officially opened in 2007.

The home started with 33 children but currently accommodating 83 children with 50 in the home and 33 within the community. The children’s home belongs to the Catholic Church but was founded by Mrs Thia a Dutch who came for missionary in Ghana.
