Coach Kwesi Appiah names Isaac Twum and Vincent Atinga in squad to face Uganda

Black Stars coach, James Akwesi Appiah has revealed the 23 players that will embark on a trip to Kampala, Uganda for the fifth round game of the CAF 2018 World Cup Qualifiers which includes three players from the 2017 WAFU Cup winners.

Aduana Stars’ goalie, Joseph Addo, Inter Allies’ Isaac Twum and Hearts of Oak’s Vincent Atinga are handed call up to the senior national team springing a new hope for players playing in the local league.

Isaac Twum who won the best player of the just ended Fox TV WAFU tournament and Vincent Atinga earned a maiden call up to the Black Stars camp.

The Black Stars will play the Cranes on Wednesday, October 4 in search for the sole slot to Russia 2018.
