Christina Boateng scored two in Arizona Western College 4:3 victory against Pima Community College to advance to the National Division One Regional Final – setting up a tie against Phoenix Community College.
The 19-year-old former Samaria Ladies left footed attacker has pitched her football to another height, getting praises from all corners. Boateng scored two second half goals and ensured her team crawled back from a 2 goal down in the first half to win 4:3.
The victory set the Arizona Western College up with a tie against Phoenix Community College at exactly 2:00PM today to battle for the National Junior College Athletics Association title.
Boateng who played in all games for the Black Princesses in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Canada relocated to the United States about four months ago and had already ensured 27 goals in 22 games – leading the zone as the top scorer.
