Ayesem did not show up at the second edition of Kofi Kinaata’s Made in Taadi Concert with many concluding that he had issues with the Fante Rap God but Ayesem has denied those claims and said he had a show in Accra on the 24th of December.
Lots of artistes both upcoming and mainstream ones including Sarkodie, Joey B and many others showed up to give fans who came to the Takoradi Jubilee Park some mouthwatering performances but many were left wondering why Ayesem didn’t show up with some concluding that he turned down calls from Kinaata because he disrespected him.
Speaking to Adjoa Nyamewaa on Spice 91.9 FM, Ayesem pleaded to the fans who wanted to see him perform but he didn’t show up and later revealed that he had a show which his management had charged for earlier on and it was to be held on the same date as the Made in Taadi Concert.
“Fans should forgive me, I was on a paid show at Accra that same night, which my management had taken the money before Kofi Kinaata’s call came through, it wasn’t intentional that Ayeesem didn’t want to pass through, last year we came to do it for him and it was successful and this year, we were willing to come but then something came up, that was why we couldn’t come” Ayesem said on Keteke.
” Kinaata has been a brother from day one, he knows there is nothing between us that will let me decide not to be on his show, and as I said earlier on, there were event, that was why I couldn’t come, but then I got in touch later on” he added.
