Asante Kotoko scored 4 in friendly ahead of Hearts clash

Asante Kotoko whipped lower division side Natcoster FC 4-1 in a warm up game ahead of their Ghana Premier League week 22 super clash against Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Obed Owusu, Yakubu Mohammed, Issac Quansah and Abass Mohammed were the scorers for Asante Kotoko on Wednesday.

Supporters of Asante Kotoko flooded the venue to witness how ready their team is ahead of the mighty clash against rivals Accra Hearts of Oak – the game’s Asante Kotoko’s first after their fatal accident after game week 21 lost to Inter Allies.

Obed Owusu scored first in the 11th minute and Yakubu Mohammed went on the score sheet by an assist from Eric Donkor in the 21st minute to double the score line.

Center forward Awuah Boakye of Nacoster FC reduced the deficit in the 39th minute from a spot kick.

Before substitute Issac Quansah finished off Atta Kusi’s nice corner when he nodded it home to restore their two goal lead margin in the 72nd minute.

Abass Mohammed put the icing on the cake in the 86th minute when he connected to a solo run by Atta poku who dribbled three players and cut it in to Mohammed.
