‘Blame GHALCA For the Woes Of Ghana Football’ – Robert Duncan Lambaste

Football Association Chairman for the Central Region, Robert Duncan has blames Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) for the poor state of Ghana Football which is currently going under normalization process after some members of the old GFA were caught on camera allegedly taking bribes.

Speaking to the host of Spice Center Sports, Abaidoo Abednego on Wednesday August 21 2019, Robert Duncan said he will blame Ghana League Clubs Association which is headed by Kudjoe Fianoo as the reason why football in the country is on the decline.

“Honestly speaking, we are where we are because of our welfare body; they didn’t stand by us in difficult times”

GHALCA is there to serve in the interest of the clubs but they have failed us.

Football is one thing and all the clubs have come together to form an association called GHALCA which constitutes all the clubs and they have to fight in the interest of the clubs even when they are wrong” Robert Duncan said.

“In my opinion I think the welfare body hasn’t helped us, when the issue came, we should have been called to a meeting earlier, but they refused to do that” he added.
