UPDATE: Families of Five Siblings Killed In A Mud-house Gets Support

The five siblings killed after a mud-house they were sleeping in collapsed on them as a result of torrential rainfall on Friday night at Ngyerisia, a suburb of Sekondi in the Western Region have been identified as Lydia Amoah 17years old, a mother of 1 year old Beatrice Amoah, Mary Amoah 15 years old, is a JHS 1 while 11 years old Clement Amoah is in class 3, 7 years old Emmanuel Amoah is also in class 1 all at the ST. Marks Angelican Primary in Essikado.

The sixth victim identified as Clement Amoah, 13 years old is however responding to treatment at the Effia Nkwanta regional Hospital in Sekondi.

Meanwhile, the Western Regional Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah together with officials from NADMO on Saturday morning visited the family of the victims and consoles of their loss.

Though the mother victims, Felicia Commey could not phantom how such a disaster

happened the family, her husband, the father of the victims Isaac Amoah was soaked in tears at the time of our visit to the family house the morning after the incident.

The Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah who was lost for words Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah told the team of officers from NADMO access the situation and report back to him immediately.
