US First Lady, Melania Trump, arrived in Ghana on Monday to kick-start her first solo trip to Africa to promote health and education.
She was welcomed by Mrs. Rebecca Akufo- Addo and other government officials.
The two First ladies later proceeded to the Ridge Hospital to visit some patients and officials.
Somewhere in May, Mrs. Trump launched the “Be Best” campaign with the vision to provide children with the support and tools necessary to grow up happily and healthier into responsible adults.
The campaign seeks to roll out full humanitarian work where she travels to meet with children across the globe in a bid to promote programmes and US institutions like USAID that share her goal.
Mrs. Trump will also visit Kenya, Malawi, and Egypt.
