7 Hearts of Oak fans to be arraigned before court today

Some seven football fans who were caught during the scuffle at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last Sunday have been arranged before the High Court today Tuesday for breaking seat in the Stadium.

Following the fallout from last Sundays friendly match between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak which led to the distraction of some seats in the Green Stands at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium by some supporters

The fans were arrested by the police after breaking the seats at the score board area when the referee ignored a penalty call which eventually resulted in the opener for Asante Kotoko.

The number of seats destroyed by the fans has risen from 173 to 275 as earlier reported which has been confirmed by the National Sports Authority in Kumasi with each seat costing an amount of GHC 110.00.

Hearts of Oak lost by 2 – 0 to Asante Kotoko in the second leg of their two legged encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
