WASSA AKROPONG: 3 SUPPOSED MILITARY MEN BUSTED

Information reaching Spicefmonline indicates that at about 4.00 GMT on Wednesday May 30, 2018 L/Cpl Araba Botwe and L/Cpl Regina Doudu of Wassa Akropong in the Western Region had information from one Mensah Sani, age 47 that some men in Army and Police uniforms came to his “galamsey” site at Wassa Atieku in a Toyota Hilux pick up with registration number GC 7920-12 and seized his gold concentrate popularly called ‘black’.

Police immediately mounted surveillance on the said millitary men who clam are members of the famous Operation Vanguard Team at Wassa Japa because one Kofi, Abrantiehene of Japa told the Police that the uniform men were moving towards Akropong.

Three (3) out of the 7 Military Officers were arrested: L/Cpl Boateng Shradrack, L/Cpl Obeng Seth and L/Cpl Paul Nkuah Attah.

A civilian driver, Fianyo Richard attached to the group escaped arrest but his driving licence retrieved but the other four (4) supposed military men are currently at large.

Exhibits found by the police includes 3 SM rifles with 52 life cartridges, 4 mobile phones, 3 sets of Military uniforms and a set of Police uniform.
