Aduana Stars, winners of the 2016-17 Ghana Premier League are in line to secure the signature of former West African Football Academy[WAFA] midfielder, Emmanuel Boateng.
Emmanuel Boateng, 20, ended his stay with the Academy Boys a the end of the 2016-17 season and has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Ogya Mba side.
The center half is also a target of 2016-17 MTN FA Cup winners, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, but the closest to secure his signature for the season is the Dormaa based side.
The midfielder was part of the midfield trio of Gideon Waja and Majeed Ashimeru who dominated the league last season, helping WAFA finish second, their best ever position in the Premier League.
If Emmanuel Boateng completes his switch to Dormaa, he becomes the second WAFA player to join the Champions in the transfer window, following the transfer of Caleb Amankwa.
