Newly appointed technical director for Elmina Sharks, Kim Grant has assured club fans of an upcoming success.
Grant, at age 54, have worked under different levels in the football world: head coach, a scout to English Premier League Clubs, a technical director for Cape Coast side Ebusua Dwarfs and other previous engagement is expected to steer the technical affairs with his experience alongside head Coach and assistant coach, Yaw Acheampong and Fliex Aboagye.
“It comes with responsibility, that’s the role I’m here”he said when quizzed.
When questioned on Sharks plans going into 2017-18 Ghana Premier League season, “Our philosophy for next season will be tactical and having strategic plans in place. We should have time to do it physically and mentally”.
Despite that,” It will be a long process, Dr.Ndoum has shown me the project, it fit my ambitions”. Our structures, “I don’t think can be done by any professional club in Ghana”.
Former Ghana international, Grant, revealed his biggest plans ahead of the season,” I want to win the league, play champions league in CAF. Since, Dr.Papa Kwasi Ndoum’s decisions, ideas, views fix to mine”.
“My experience will bring Elmina Sharks to the next level”, he stated.
